FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long do services last?

Our Sunday service starts at 10:00a and lasts about an hour.

Is there something for children?

When you enter the church, please make your way to the HCKids table in our lobby. There, you'll register your children and receive a secure nametag and code for pickup. We have a nursery for children from birth to 3 years old. Our nursery is located in the North wing classroom hallway. Children can go to the Nursery at any time!

Children preK (age 4) through 5th grade will also register at the HCKids table, but will remain with an adult in our service through the worship set. This lasts about 20 minutes, and then they'll be dismissed to our Gymnasium for class. An adult can pick them up after service, and will need to provide the secure pickup tag.

What about my teenager?

Our teens & tweens have an AWESOME class just for them BEFORE the service, starting at 9:00a during our Small Group hour. They meet at 9:00a in the Legacy Loft, also located in the North Wing hallway, upstairs overlooking our Gymnasium. There's ping pong, foosball, gaming, and more. They are invited to join us during our Sunday Worship service at 10:00a. Legacy Youth is for grades 6-12.

What should I wear?

Jesus says, Come as You Are. And that's how we feel, too. There's a big mix of how people dress for church at Heritage. Suits and ties, dresses, jeans, button downs, tees -- we see it all. And we're down with however you want to join us.

What's the music like?

We pride ourselves on having a great mixture of contemporary songs you'd hear on K-Love AND timeless beautiful hymns. Worship is for God, and to God. And we want everything we sing, say and do to point to our Savior.

Are you that big church complex on Strayer Road?

Nope. See signs that say "The Church?" That ISN'T us! Just to keep you on your toes, there are TWO churches right next to each other on Strayer Road. We are Heritage Church of God, a red brick building in the valley on Strayer.
